Since the prestigious and uber glam Lakme Fashion Week kickstarted five days ago, the world of fashion has witnessed the best of Bollywood walking the ramps for the best designers of the country. Everyone from Malaika Arora to Kareena Kapoor Khan have graced the ramp with their elegance and on the fifth day, singer-actor Divya Khosla Kumar turned showstopper for Krsna Couture. But apart from looking like a goddess in a silver couture ensemble, it was the graceful and self-confident way she handled a major wardrobe malfunction, saving the day and elegantly finishing her ramp walk. You go, girl!
Divya Khosla Kumar, 38, looked every bit the gorgeous wonder she is as she entered the ramp walk in a silver, heavy embroidered skirt with sharp pleats and a plunging neckline crop top with batwing sleeves. Completing her look was a heavy, yet beautiful choker neckpiece made of silver gems and a green-hued pearl-drop gem.
While Divya Khosla looked like a fairy as she practically glided on the ramp walk, her foot got stuck in her skirt. Her attempts to adjust it while continuing her walk resulted in the zipper of the skirt coming undone.
But instead of panicking, she dealt with the wardrobe malfunction mid-walk with a calm mind and picked up the slipping waistline of her skirt, clenched it in her hand, kept her hands on her waist keeping the high-waisted skirt in place, and walked forward with the same elegance she had entered the ramp with!
The video of Divya Khosla Kumar saving the day without losing her confidence and exuding utmost grace as she walked on has been going viral as netizens took to social media to praise the actress for handling the situation with the presence of mind and self-confidence.
Well, if she can be that confident and cool in a situation we would have definitely blown up further, we can’t wait to see the magic Divya Khosla Kumar will bring to the silver screen in her upcoming film Satyamev Jayate 2, opposite John Abraham. This would be her first lead role in a film since she starred with Akshay Kumar in 2004’s Ab Tumhare Hawale Watan Saathiyo.
