Rebel Wilson’s thoughts on her body transformation journey
Rebel Wilson’s body transformation journey reached its destination when the actress weighed 165 pounds in November. She talked to her fans about her journey the following month on her Instagram. She revealed that she ate less than 1,500 calories in a day and worked out “like a beast” six days a week to maintain herself.
“Does this mean I eat healthy and clean every day? No, far from it,” she said. “But I am prioritizing where I can. If I go out to a restaurant, I’ll try the salmon, chicken breast. I don’t eat much meat, that’s why it was hard. I was mainly eating vegetarian. But now I really have to concentrate on it because my body just responds well to protein.”
“What I was doing was to improve my overall health and to improve my whole lifestyle to make me a happier, healthier person,” she said. “I’m so glad that I did it. The goal was never to be skinny. It was never to fit into a certain dress size. I put a goal weight because I needed some tangible thing… But I am really glad that I did it because I think it was time. I’ve been overweight for about 20 years.”
How did the transformation happen?
According to People, her transformation follows the Mayr Method diet plan. She changed her diet to high-protein other than carbs. ‘It’s an approach that eliminates food intolerances, reduces sugar, encourages eating whole foods slowly, boosts the immune system and reduces inflammation,’ a source said.
Even her trainer Jono Castano also shared some tips about her workout from her “year of health.” The first step was to make yourself accountable and have achievable goals. The goals should always be “attainable and realistic, but also measurable.”
He further said to exercise or get moving for at least 45 minutes. “One of my biggest things is 45 daily…Everyone has 45 minutes somewhere and it doesn’t have to be a grueling sweat-sesh either, it could even just be a walk.” he explained.
Rebel Wilson’s body transformation consisted of combined HIIT, mobility, and weights, along with tire flips and battle ropes,
