Cardi B
To begin with, Cardi B kicked off the 2021 American Music Awards Sunday night. The “WAP” rapper made her hosting debut, live from the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, bringing the most dramatic ensembles on the stage. She stepped out in an elegant black Benjamin gown with a dramatic feathered headdress and silver diamond jewelry. Her look comprised of a full gold face mask that created a twist seen never before.
JoJo Siwa
JoJo Siwa stepped out in her most glamorous look yet at the 2021 American Music Awards, saying goodbye to her signature ponytail. The 18-year-old influencer arrived wearing a chic off-the-should black gown, with sheer panels running down the tulle skirt. She finished off her chic look by braiding the front strands of her blonde hair and pulling it back.
Olivia Rodrigo
Olivia Rodrigo hit the red carpet in a dazzling gown by David Koma which featured a sheer silhouette composed of numerous purple sequins and a layered hem of lavender feathers. She completed her look with mirrored sandals, layered rings, and delicate earrings.
Billy Porter
The Pose star graced the red carpet in an eye-catching ensemble. The 52-year-old actor arrived rocking a soft blue suit by Botter that showed off a little bit of chest, with black leather platform boots and a stunning extra-large ring. But this was not it. The surprise element of Porter’s ensemble was a headband consisting of an umbrella.
Machine Gun Kelly
It was a father-daughter date night! Machine Gun Kelly brought his daughter, Casie, to the 2021 American Music Awards on Sunday, November 21. The rocker sported a custom-made Ashton Michael look, including a knit sweater with pearl and chain embellishments and a matching pearl choker. His daughter Casie proved to be a good luck charm for her dad, who took home the award for Favorite Rock Artist.
BTS
Korean pop band BTS, who won three awards at the American Music Awards 2021, arrived at the AMAs in formal attire and took over the internet with their red carpet interviews and their swag. The group was dressed in grey and black pantsuits by Louis Vuitton’s Men’s Spring-Summer 2022 collection. Suga left everyone in awe with his flaming red hair. He wore a grey suit with a front tie-up and, for first the time ever, a bright crimson hair colour. RM wore a grey suit while Jin and Jimin looked handsome in black formal wear with white and pink shirts. J-Hope looked playful in his grey outfit, too, that he matched with a blue shirt and tie.
