Pronounced as “keen-wah”, it closely resembles rice which comes with a creamy, crunchy, and nutty flavour all at once. With almost all essential nutrients needed for survival, quinoa is a highly recommended grain especially for vegans and vegetarians as they lack an adequate amount of protein in their diet.

2 cups quinoa
1 cup corn kernels
Black beans 1 Cup
1 cup salsa
1 tbsp ground cumin + salt and pepper ( as per taste)
1.Bring 3 cups of water to a boil in a pot and add in quinoa covering the pan with a lid. Simmer quinoa over low heat for 12-15 minutes until tender.
2. Once your quinoa is cooked keep it aside to cool for a while.
3. Take another pan and cook together corn and black beans until they become tender.
4. Now add in quinoa, cumin, and salsa and cook everything on a low heat till well combined.
5. Add salt and pepper according to taste.
6. Garnish your quinoa with parsley and binge in!

1 cup Fresh coriander Leaves
1 Jalapeno deseeded (or else, 6-7 slices of store bought Jalapeno)
2-3 cloves of garlic
4 Green Onions sliced
White wine vinegar
Salt (as per taste)
1.In a blender, add in tomatoes, coriander, jalapeno, and garlic and process the ingredients.
2.Now add in sliced green onions and a dash of vinegar.
3.Taste and adjust the seasoning as per your taste.
4.Refrigerate the salsa for at least an hour for the flavours to come together.
