Ganpati Bappa comes every year around this time of the year, reminding us to take a break from the maddening rush of life and celebrate with our family. Bappa is welcomed in almost every Indian household with immense love and warmth.
The B-Town is never behind when it comes to celebrations and this time the hosts for Bollywood’s Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations were the Ambanis. ‘Antila’, the Ambani Villa was decked up with wonderful flowers and puja decorations. The villa also witnessed stars and celebrities coming in from around the city, dressed in ethnic and bright clothes.
Celebs spotted at Ambani’s Ganesh Chaturthi Puja:
If you are wondering who all showed up, what they wore and who they showed up with, we have got it all covered. The Ganpati homecoming puja was graced by Amitabh Bachan, Amir Khan, Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor, Madhuri Dixit, Karan Johar, and Vidya Balan to name a few.
Alia- Ranbir-Ayan: The trio enters together
Remember the first time Alia and Ranbir made a public appearance together? Remember the third person who is always in their pictures on red carpets? That is Ayan Mukerji, people!
Alia wore a yellow floral themed sari designed by Manish Malhotra, complemented by dazzling big earrings. The young actress went for a natural-yet vibrant look, much like her beau, Ranbir Kapoor who settled for a grey printed jacket on a kurta pajama combination.
The Ambani family looks just out of a movie for their puja looks:
Nita Ambani was spotted getting clicked with daughter, Isha Ambani, and daughter in law Ria Merchant. The three gorgeous ladies looked stunning in lehengas with intricate work. One of the things that stood out about their outfits is that the lehenga looked super light and comfortable, fit for the hosts.
Indian cricket players join the celebration with their family
The Mumbai Indian owners sure did not forget to invite the cricket fraternity! Men in blue were seen attending the puja decked up in ethnic clothes with their families. Among the ones who made it to the villa were Harbajan Singh, Zaheer Khan, Hardik Pandaya and Sanchin Tendulkar.
An eleven-day celebration with Bappa Mourya!
Ganpati celebrations are in full swing in Mumbai and it was a treat to see our favorite celebrities coming together to celebrate the festival together.
Here’s hoping that Bappa grants whatever you have been wishing for this year.
