It seems that Megan Fox and Brian Austin Green have finally made up their minds and decided to end the silent war between them by legally filing for divorce. Megan Fox’s divorce news was confirmed on Wednesday by The Blast, according to the legal documents obtained by them the divorce was filed by Megan in the Los Angeles Country Court.
According to Megan Fox’s divorce papers, the actress wants joint custody and physical custody of the three children – 8-year-old Noah Shannon, 6-year-old Bodhi Ransom, and 4-year-old Journey River. She also wants to forestall spousal support for both halves of the couple.
As per TMZ’s response from Brian, he has agreed to everything except he is still hesitant about the spousal support removal. There is also a major difference between Megan Fox and Brian Austin Green’s filings on their separation dates. Megan has put the date of separation to be November 2019 while Green says that the split happened on March 5, 2020.
Even after their split the couple has clashed on social media. When Green shared a picture of one of their children on his Instagram account, Megan didn’t hold herself back and called him out openly for destroying the privacy of the children. According to People’s sources, the couple has been at “odds for some time.” The source further said, “They are struggling to get along and have been for a while,”.
An insider from Green’s side also made a remark on Megan Fox and Brian Austin Green’s relationship status, “It’s a tough situation. As a dad, Brian is great. He is wonderful with the boys, The issue is that he is bitter that Megan moved on so quickly with Machine Gun Kelly. It’s been very hard for him. His behavior can be pretty immature when it comes to Megan though. He knows how to get Megan upset. In the past, he was advised to chill out and just focus on doing the right thing for the boys.”
Recently Megan Fox also made a public appearance with Beau Machine Gun Kelly on the red carpet of the American Music Awards 2020. Megan came as a presenter for an award and Kelly was doing a debut performance with friend Travis Baker.
Megan Fox and Brian Austin Green had split their ways almost after 10 years of marriage. The couple had first met on the sets of “Hope & Faith” in 2004 and had been dating since then. They got engaged in November 2006 but called it off in February 2009. But soon the pair got engaged and tied the knot in 2010. There was turmoil in the marriage but after their third son, they tried to again give it a shot which failed miserably.
